Granted, we could live without some of that software, including the TouchWiz UI itself, but the pen software is top notch, Samsung's Multi Window split window multitasking is the best in the business and there are several enjoyable creature comforts like Air View.

As it's now the norm, the viewing angles of this IPS LCD screen are very good, although still not perfect, as there's some noticeable brightness loss, but that's normal.

We feared battery life might not be up to much thanks to the full HD, 5.7-inch display which adorns the front of the Note 3, but we were pleasantly surprised.
