In The News From around the web

The Moto X+1 will deliver a hefty spec increase compared to the original Moto X. It will have a 5.2" 1080p screen, Snapdragon 801 chipset and a 13MP camera with 2160p video capture.
Anyway, the Moto X+1 price is set at $670/€505.
Given how important ergonomics are for the company, it certainly makes more sense than implementing a parallax barrier 3D screen.
The final noteworthy feature is touchless control – almost certainly an advanced version of the always on voice commands that the Moto X introduced.
Motorola will launch the Moto X+1 with Android 4.4.4 and, we presume, plans for an update to Android L. Under the hood, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core 2.5GHz Krait CPU, 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU.
At the back, there's a 13MP snapper that is capable of recording 4K video, while at the front is a 2MP camera recording 1080p video.

Motorola teases Moto X+1, Moto G2 and Moto 360 for September 4

by Hugh Langley |

The company has just fired out invitations for a big Motorola show, which strongly hints that we'll be seeing the Moto X+1 and a new Moto G phone unveiled, while also suggesting that a release date for the Moto 360 smartwatch is on the cards.
The animated invitation shows a colourful paper fortune teller displaying a phone with an X on the screen, another with a G on it, and a very Moto 360-esque watch.
