Speaking of video, it goes without saying that LG's beautiful, 5.9-inch display is an absolute pleasure to watch video content on.

Reviews Word on the street for the LG G Pro 2

8.0
Call quality on our AT&T and Verizon review units was excellent with clear voice that sounded full and natural by cell phone standards.

9.0
We were also very happy to see that LG has stepped up its game in terms of panoramas – those were previously a blurry, low-quality stitch job, whereas we now have wonderfully-detailed results.

What People Are Saying Give it to me straight

Screen

This isn't just a 'good' display – it's downright beautiful.
by PhoneArena (Mar, 2014)
Knock Code will work in any area of the screen, which sure is a nice bonus.
by PhoneArena (Mar, 2014)
The display remains cool to the touch.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)

Camera

Exposure is generally balanced with none of the white out that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is prone to, and it takes better low light shots than the GS4.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
There's plenty of image data thanks to the megapixel rating, and happily LG resists over-sharpening what's already sharp enough.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
Here's why I love the G2: the camera.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)

Operating system

Speaking of software, there's an incredible helping here, from items like Quick Memo and QSlide multitasking that we've seen on other recent LG phones, to the Samsung-like features that include a floating transparent and resizable video player, the function where the phone uses the front camera to watch you so it won't turn off the screen while you're looking at it, and conversely it will pause video playback if you look away.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
Overall, LG's software appeals to me, even though I generally prefer phones with a clean Android experience.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
Yes, it's a lot of software, but I actually find much of it pleasant and easy to use.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)

Video

The G2's 5.2" full HD IPS display is simply sharp, colorful and gorgeous.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
For starters, 4K video capture is available, and you can even shoot 720p clips at 120 frames per second.
by PhoneArena (Mar, 2014)
Still, if you're looking for something a bit more practical, you can always go for 1080p capture at 30 or 60 frames per second.
by PhoneArena (Mar, 2014)

Resolution

Yes it does in terms of image detail (the added resolution helps) and optical image stabilization outperforms the iPhone's digital stabilization for video recording.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
As you'd expect, the rear camera can shoot 1080p video.
by MobileTechReview (Sep, 2013)
Display The Quad HD displays madness surely appears unavoidable at this point, but the G Pro 2 won't be the device that pushes that frontier for LG.
