All of them have quad-band 2G GSM and 3G GSM (HSPA), but there are some key differences.

Reviews Word on the street for the BlackBerry Z10

That said, with proper lighting, the BlackBerry Z10 captures sharp and colorful shots and fairly smooth 1080p video.

Similar to its contemporaries, the Z10 is armed with all of the connectivity arsenal we’d expect to find nowadays – such as aGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot functionality, and NFC.

Load speeds are pretty similar over Wi-Fi, but a strong connection can see a second or so knocked off the desktop sites.

What People Are Saying Give it to me straight

Combining its strong brightness output with its decent viewing angles, we didn’t have any problems viewing the display in outdoor conditions – with the sun present.
by PhoneArena (Feb, 2013)
Contrast is good, viewing angles are very wide and colors are very lively.
by GSM Arena (Feb, 2013)
The 4.2", 1280 x 768 IPS display is sharp and good looking.
by MobileTechReview (Mar, 2013)

That and the clock feel a bit out of place with the rest of the interface that's closer to Windows Phone than early HTC Sense in graphical style, unlike these two apps.
by GSM Arena (Feb, 2013)
The layout of the BBM app has been given a revamp to follow the new BB10 theme with messages displaying in the same speech bubble design as texts.

Activity, on the other hand, shows your communication with that person, giving you the most recent calls, texts, emails, tweets, Facebook events or other messages you may have shared with them.

Suggestions work for up to three languages at once, great as most people will need to mix in at least some English into their text.
by GSM Arena (Feb, 2013)
Call Quality: Again relying on AT&T’s network, we’re pleased by the smartphone’s call quality, as voices on both ends of the line are clear and distinctive – the earpiece produces an average volume output.
by PhoneArena (Feb, 2013)
Rather, the homescreen is comprised of three distinct panels – the apps panel, active frames panel, and the Blackberry Hub.

Operating system

The Z10 is a decent smartphone offering up a strong range of features and a fancy new operating system that may catch the eye of the technologically adventurous.
by TechRadar (Nov, 2013)
The new OS is exciting to say the least - we've been waiting for a well-made gesture-based interface for what feels like ages (MeeGo and WebOS got us worked up, only to disappear soon after).
by GSM Arena (Feb, 2013)
Fast forward a few years and it isn't even worthwhile to release an OS missing those staples.
by MobileTechReview (Mar, 2013)

BlackBerry has taken care to make the stock keyboard one of the best keyboards around by enabling a ton of advanced features, some of which adapt to you.
by GSM Arena (Feb, 2013)
The new on-screen keyboard in BlackBerry OS 10 is one of the most important features - hardware QWERTYs have always been a defining feature for the brand and the Z10 doesn't have one.
by GSM Arena (Feb, 2013)
No folks, there aren’t any gimmicky novelties this time around, but we’re pleasantly impressed that the on-screen keyboard works well.

All in all, though, our first impressions of the Z10 and BB10 are positive. The phone and OS are smooth and seamless to use, screen viewing angles are very wide and the predictive text function will no doubt cause a buzz. The Z10 is a good smartphone. Frankly, it's a better smartphone than I expected from RIM at this stage in the game. It does everything a modern phone should do, usually without hesitation. It doesn't do everything perfectly, but it does many things — most things — reasonably well. And if you have decided to become a proud owner of this device, perhaps you’re in the market for a solid and beautiful protection case as well.
