This Incredible Bullet Time Photo Booth Is Made of 130 HTC Ones

What do you get when you rig up 130 HTC One smartphones, each powered by a Snapdragon 600 processor, in a 540-degree spiral and set the rig up on a busy walkway?

This delightful Snapdragon Booth: a photo booth that takes awesome bullet time-style rotating videos. (Incidentally, it also makes a great advertisement for the power of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors!)

Recently, the Snapdragon Booth visited Venice, CA, where it captured a firebreather, an acrobatic dog, and a variety of other shenanigans in action. You can see the results in the video above. I’d say it’s not quite as cool as the GoPro bullet time dogs video we posted a while back, but it’s pretty nifty when you consider that it was created using a bunch of regular old smartphone cameras.

Right now, Qualcomm’s holding a contest on SnapdragonBooth.com, where you can vote to have the booth come to your city.
