So I’ve been looking for a new phone and had actually thought, you know, maybe it’s time I switched to the iPhone. I’ve been working with Android for the past couple years and everything seems so hacked-together when compared with the velvety smoothness of iOS.
But then I read about the leaked user manual for the Nexus 5 and now how its price point is rumored to be half that of the iPhone 5S and there’s just no way I can ignore the numbers. You can check out a comparison here, but the 5S is about half as powerful as the Nexus 5 in all specs—and I can hear the fanboys shouting it’s not the size but how you use it, and all I’m going to say is I’ll take a 2.3GHz quad-core running off a 2,300 mA-h battery over a 1.3GHz dual-core powered by 1,560 mA-h any day. Especially when the price is better.
